Day 5 - Bringing back QTEs


Chain timings are here!!


...kinda. The basic idea is here. Again, just a proof of concept. This is all just visual, there is no actual logic for it in game yet, you get no rewards for getting the timing right (that's an issue for next week's Phill). However, it looks pretty sick, aye?

Yesterday, I was thinking about how this would be a mechanic exclusive to the Extension Tail Part, which would be kind of unfair to players that choose not to use it. So I was thinking that ALL Parts could have their own version of Chains!

Sharp Tail? You get to do chains of enemy kills at certain points.

Hacker Tail? Get rewards for doing several hacks perfectly.

etc etc.

And also that these chains could possibly be an upgrade for the specific parts! But I'm still unsure about that, since this is such a fun mechanic.

What do you guys think? Does it look fun for someone that isn't playing?
