Day 28 to 30 - Tutorial Blockout Going Nicely!
I'm actually enjoying this design process!
It's been fun being able to zone out and just build a level as if it were Legos. Takes me back to when game development was just a dream instead of my job lol.
And I'm finally getting the hang of Unity's Timeline System to make cutscenes! In the beginning I would avoid like the plague, but now it's actually enjoyable.
Many many many bug fixes and adjustments have also been made, but they're not really noticeable if you didn't know about the bugs beforehand. Either way, the game plays much smoother now!
That second floor bit is where the player needs to learn how to fight, if they haven't already before! The whole section feels very simplistic (the Chemist's Room is the last bit before the third floor) but I don't think I hate that! Maybe I'll throw in another simple puzzle or two, but for now I'm happy with it.
What do you guys think?
