Day 2 - Giving the Player a Sense of Speed and Freedom
Hey guys!
Phill here, again.
Today I kept working on making the player feel fast and cool when moving from building to building. Today I improved how the camera feels. Have a look at this video:
There is now a slight camera shake whenever the Player is pulling themselves towards a point, giving a greater sense of speed. I still need to tweak the FOV and Shaking values, but I feel like this already helps a lot.
I've also started working on hanging points! Which are... very much still a work in progress:
The following days will likely be a lot of this! Right now I'm working on making the Extendable Tail fun to play (as it will likely be the Part players will use the most), but I also want to add parkour options for players that decide to not play with the Extendable Tail! So that's what you can expect to see a bunch of for the moment.
Then, to finish off the time I had, I worked on this itch page! Which, clearly, I still didn't have much time to work on, ahah. But I will improve it, slowly but surely!
See you tomorrow,
Phill.
