Day 1 - Improving Game Feel
Hey everyone!
Welcome to Scraptail's first text-based devlog. Usually I do these in video form, but I have been travelling these past few months and so it hasn't been easy to record much of anything. And so I have decided to change to a text format.
This way I can post everyday and it's a lot easier and quicker, so it doesn't get in the way of my travels or day-time job! Let me know what you think of the format :)
Now, regarding the actual devlog:
There's been many changes over the last few months, and I plan to make a big write-up about them by the end of the week! For today, though, I only had about an hour to work on the game, so I mainly focused on some optimizations and bug-fixing. However, I wanted to have something practical to show, and since we've been focusing on game feel lately, I made some quick speed lines which is an easy way to make the player feel badass! Here's a small video of it, see you all tomorrow!
